Member Newsletter Highlights (Feb 2025)

Hello from the SnoCo Leadership Team!

One of our team members wrote a long “newsletter”, linked here.

For those of you who don’t feel like reading:Changes are coming to membership structure (explained in the newsletter).

• New members joining the space after March 1st: $70.00 per month, $35.00 per bundled member, up to 2 additional bundled members per household.

• Existing members (or those who join up until March 1st) will be grandfathered in at $60.00 month with their bundled members for free until the end of the year, as a thank you for sticking with us during our rebuild.

• All members (both new and old) will be signing new membership agreements, including an updated set of “House Rules”.

• We will also be pro-rating memberships in March so that everyone’s membership renews on the 5th of the month to give us better financial planning runway.

We are openly soliciting for volunteers to help run the woodshop, the metal shop, the blue room, as well as teachers to teach classes.  Please email snocoleadership@snocomakers.org if you are interested.  We will solicit volunteers for the orange room later this year.

Two additional classes for Feb got added since the last email update:

Plasma Cutting, Chop Saw, Grinder and Sanding Steel
